The property owner may be out of town or does not have your dates In any case you may want to find an owner that replies promptly. A quick response may indicate a focus on good customer service and may translate into a better experience on your stay. |

We recommend property owners list on multiple sites. The more exposure you can get for your vacation rental the better chance you will have to get your occupancy at your target level. |

8. How can we be sure we are renting the property listed on your site?
The best way to be sure you are getting the vacation rental you are requesting is to make an appointment and see the property in person. If you canít visit the property then ask the vacation rental owner for references. You can also make sure the property exists by doing a title search online and get an instant report. The cost is usually under ten dollars. Most legitimate properties are on multiple sites. Try to verify their contact information. Ask for a work number of the vacation rental owner. There is also travel insurance available. |
9. Why don't many of the large vacation rental sites have detailed searches?
The simple answer is, the sites are behind the times. It is to a travelers benefit to narrow their search without eliminating possible properties. 10. What does it cost to change a listing or to add or change photos?
There is no additional charge to change any portion of your vacation rental listing. Twelve photos are included in the standard listing for $99. Other Vacation Rental sites offering properties by owner charge over $300 when additional photos are added. |
11. Do I pay a commission if I rent a vacation rental from this site?
We are a listing service independent from the property owners. We do not receive any commission. The property owners pay a small fee to be on the site. You can expect to save on your vacation rental when you rent from a site that offers vacation rentals from the owner.top |
12. Are all of the vacation rentals listed on SearchRentals.com displaying U.S. Currency?
We request our property owner to list their weekly rental rates in U.S. currency so a fair comparison can be made on weekly rates. Read the listing carefully. Other conditions may be noted. |
13. If I list on your site do I get a link to my site?
We will put a link from your listing on SearchRentals.com to your individual website site if your are a paid listing, you do not have properties on your site that are not includeded in SearchRentals.com, and you are not a vacation rental company, and have a page rank of two or better. Your site will be diplayed in a frame with a back button to SearchRentals.com. We will require a Reciprocating link on your home page that opens in a new window. top |
14. Why does my website need a Google Page Rank of two or better to have a link to my site?
Many sites are penalized for a multitude of reasons. If the penalties are great enough, Google wil assign the site with a zero or a low ranking. A website can be penalized for linking to a penalized site. |
